About the role

  • IT Infrastructure Consultant at Coca-Cola managing database solutions and optimizing performance across diverse technologies in cloud settings.

Responsibilities

  • Technical ownership of the systems - need to learn and understand different use cases of different database Engines within our company.
  • Day to day monitoring and ownership from technical point of view to make sure each database is running as expected.
  • Continuous development and optimization of needed processes.
  • Collaborating closely with internal business or application owners and external development partners.
  • Define and maintain existing and newly standardized Database solutions.
  • Proactively suggest possible changes and optimizations in the process and systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent.
  • 5+ years work experience in Database Administration for either MSSQL or Oracle hosted database environments.
  • Able to do database related tasks within Linux and/or Windows Operating Systems.
  • Understanding or hands on experience of Amazon Web Services and Microsoft Azure.
  • Able to think critically with strong investigative skills.
  • Strong prioritization and time management skills.
  • Strong sense of commitment and accountability.
