  • Manager NPI Procurement at Hewlett Packard Enterprise handling worldwide commodity/category strategies. Leading a team to align internal objectives with external realities for efficiency and cost savings.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for execution of commodity/category strategies worldwide.
  • Manages a team of senior-level exempt individual contributors and lower-level people managers with strategic implications across organizations.
  • Accountable for aligning internal objectives with external realities to maximize efficiencies of technologies, processes and solutions.
  • Responsible for hiring, setting and monitoring of annual performance plans, coaching, and career development.
  • Ensures the delivery of products and services that meet performance metrics defined by senior management.
  • Consults with business leaders to guide and influence strategic decision-making within a broad scope.
  • Creates new operational efficiencies and cost savings within the supply chain on a broad scale.

Requirements

  • First level university degree or equivalent experience; advanced university degree preferred.
  • Typically 10+ years of experience in a supply chain function (or related fields).
  • Typically 2-4 years of people management experience.
  • Advanced knowledge of procurement and supply chain business requirements and strategies.
  • Advanced written, verbal and presentation skills catered to a wide variety of audiences; mastery in English and local language.
  • Thorough knowledge of marketplace and industry standards and compliance.
  • Advanced qualitative and quantitative analytics and data modelling skills.
  • Advanced project management and project sponsorship skills.
  • Advanced people management skills, including managing teams across geographies.
  • Advance influencing, consulting and negotiation skills; ability to ensure strategic alignment with multiple parties.
  • Advanced business acumen and understanding of risk mitigation approaches and contract language usage.
  • Excellent multi-tasking and prioritization skills.
