Responsibilities
- Work on end-to-end data projects: from requirements gathering, through modeling and transformation, to making data available for consumption.
- Support the development and maintenance of data pipelines (ETL/ELT) in a Cloud environment.
- Ensure data quality and integrity through documentation and versioning practices.
- Collaborate with teams such as Data Science, Marketing, Product and Commercial to translate business needs into analytical solutions.
- Create and automate reports and dashboards in Power BI with a focus on usability and actionable insights.
- Participate in the construction of data models (Data Lake, Data Warehouse, Data Marts).
- Contribute to the dissemination of data engineering best practices.
- Present data and analyses to diverse audiences across the company.
Requirements
- Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics or related fields.
- Strong knowledge of SQL (CTEs, window functions, optimized queries).
- Experience with Power BI and report automation.
- Familiarity with dimensional modeling and data architecture concepts.
- Experience with Python for data transformation.
- Good communication skills to engage with different areas of the company.
- Eagerness to learn and a passion for data.
- Nice-to-have: Knowledge of Google Cloud Platform (GCP) services such as BigQuery, Dataprep, Dataflow, Dataform, among others.
- Familiarity with ETL/ELT tools (e.g., Airflow, dbt) and version control (Git).
- Knowledge of software engineering practices, including testing, documentation and CI/CD.
- Experience working with business metrics, KPIs and OKRs.
- Postgraduate degree (specialization, MBA or master’s) in Data Science, Data Analysis, Data Engineering or related areas is a plus.
