About the role
- Analytics Engineer responsible for building data models and supporting analytics in fintech. Transforming raw data into clean datasets for decision-making in a collaborative environment.
Responsibilities
- Build and maintain high-quality data models that support reporting and analytics across the business
- Transform and model new data sources using dbt, aligning with our data strategy and modelling standards
- Partner with teams across the company to understand their data needs and enable data-driven decision making
- Write clean, scalable SQL and contribute to sustainable, well-structured analytics code
Requirements
- Strong SQL skills
- Experience with data modelling and using dbt
- Experience working with Snowflake or another cloud data warehouse
- Experience with Git, Git-based workflows and using macros to improve code reuse would be a plus
