Responsibilities
The Network Manager oversees all information technology in use at the Credit Union.
The role encompasses information systems planning, installation, maintenance, data and network security, and Internet services, including hardware and software upgrades.
The role manages a team of IT professionals to coordinate all information systems operations at the Credit Union.
The Network Manager is responsible for identifying and implementing network and system procedures and solutions, and providing project leadership and management in order to provide an exceptional level of service to all Credit Union departments.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience in network administration and support required
Minimum of 5 to 10 years of experience in the field of Information Systems and Network administration.
Must work well independently and as part of a team.
Strong oral and written communication skills with the ability to prepare clear and concise presentations, reports and project management documentation are required.
Highly motivated individual with exceptional prioritization, organizational, time management.
Exceptional analytical, problem-solving, full cycle project management, and multi-tasking skills are required.
Ability to plan, write and organize network design activities, configure networks consistent with organizational policies and procedures, perform complex analysis and produce professional and technical documentation with recommendations.
Ability to perform duties independently in the absence of supervision with sound judgment to know when to engage management in escalated circumstances.
Working knowledge and intermediate level of competency in using Microsoft Office Suite programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook) required.
Specific communications/network skills and knowledge required for this position include knowledge of programming languages and operating systems, current equipment and technologies in use, network administration, enterprise backup and recovery procedures, and system performance monitoring tools, effective project management techniques, and technical writing skills.
Ability to travel locally, and non-locally, as required, with a valid driver’s license, valid passport, and reliable transportation available for use in accomplishing job requirements.
