About the role
- General Manager overseeing the West Region's HVAC services for Carrier. Responsible for strategic growth, profits, and operational efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Establishing operational action plans and targets for each market and reviewing progress with local leadership on a regular basis.
- Define and collaboratively execute strategies to promote and grow across the defined commercial territory.
- Develop new processes, standards and operational and go to market plans to achieve strategic growth.
- Identify and visit key customers and determine our strategy to obtain their business.
- Collaborate across Carrier functions and business divisions in all territories to identify replacement opportunities and upcoming projects with existing customers.
- Develop strategic plans to expand geographically, organically and inorganically.
- Leverage data and analytical insights to drive performance.
- Maximize people performance through inclusive leadership and engagement, including talent evaluations, attraction and development, as well as safety and productivity programs.
- Ensure active and viable succession planning for position across territory team’s leadership.
- Partner with business leaders in establishing annual operating budgets and staffing plans to assure the most productive utilization of human, financial and capital resources.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree with 10 + years of experience in an industrial field-based business capacity
- 10 + years of leadership experience
- Ability to travel 50% within the US and Canada
