About the role

  • Benefits Analyst supporting the administration and financial management of U.S. and Canadian employee benefit programs at New Flyer, a leader in transit bus solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Process and reconcile monthly U.S. and Canadian benefit payments
  • Own benefit payment and reconciliation workflows
  • Partners with Payroll, HRIS, Finance, and benefit vendors to resolve data issues
  • Support U.S. and Canadian benefits and pension audits and compliance
  • Support annual open enrollment activities
  • Develop and maintain benefits communications
  • Support benefits budgeting, forecasting, and leadership reporting
  • Participate in benefits projects and system enhancements as required.

Requirements

  • Post-secondary education in Human Resources, Business, Finance, or a related field, and/or equivalent relevant work experience.
  • 3–5 years of experience in benefits administration, payroll, HR operations, or a related role.
  • Experience supporting U.S. and Canadian benefit programs preferred.
  • Intermediate to advanced Excel skills for reconciliations and tracking.
  • Strong attention to detail, analytical skills, and comfort working with audits, reconciliations, and compliance requirements.
