About the role

  • Quality Analyst in Innovation team ensuring safety and performance of packaging through ISTA tests and compliance with customer requirements. Collaborating on continuous improvement and technical reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Execute and analyze ISTA tests, ensuring compliance with standards, internal procedures and customer requirements.
  • Perform laboratory tests for compression, vibration, drop and stacking, ensuring result reliability.
  • Prepare technical reports, interpret test data and communicate results to the relevant areas.
  • Support packaging development and validation projects, proposing improvements based on obtained results.
  • Maintain technical records, equipment control, calibration and laboratory organization.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes, procedures and best practices of the testing laboratory.

  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes, procedures and best practices of the testing laboratory.
  • Perform tests on ISTA machines according to certification procedures.
  • Ensure the credibility of final reports by maintaining technical rigor.
  • Conduct physical packaging tests with a focus on paper and corrugated cardboard.
  • Follow the packaging homologation logic used by companies.
  • Issue reports that will serve as the basis for the client's ISTA certification.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Chemistry or related fields.
  • Intermediate English.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
  • Prior laboratory experience, preferably in packaging analysis with emphasis on paper and corrugated cardboard.
  • Knowledge of certifications such as ISTA (International Safe Transit Association) is desirable.
  • Experience preparing technical reports and participating in packaging approval/homologation processes.
  • Ability to prepare technical reports, with analytical skills to interpret data and produce clear, structured and consistent documents.
  • Good communication skills, ensuring effective transmission of results and recommendations to the relevant areas.
