- Field Engineer responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of large-scale solar and battery facilities in North Florida. Ensuring safety, efficiency, and maintenance compliance in energy solutions.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the site safety manager ensuring all personnel and equipment onsite are safe and that the site/s comply with environmental regulations and required regulatory permits.
- Spend significant time in the field (outside), conducting routine preventive maintenance activities on solar panels, battery storage systems, and associated equipment.
- Troubleshoot and undertake corrective maintenance to identify and resolve system issues, ensuring maximum system uptime and efficiency.
- Adhere to maintenance schedules and follow established procedures for inspections, cleaning, lubrication, and component replacements.
- Utilize monitoring software and tools to regularly monitor and analyze system performance, identifying deviations and inefficiencies.
- Generate performance reports and maintain accurate records of system performance, including energy production, equipment status, and maintenance activities.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, team members, and other stakeholders regarding work progress, challenges, and recommendations.
- Be on-call and responsible for North FL Region sites, coordinating with the Renewables Operation Control Center, OEMs, vendors, and contractors as required.
