About the role

  • You plan and execute our trade shows, events, webinars and other communication formats, including exhibition booth design.
  • You manage the creation and delivery of marketing materials (presentations, giveaways, brochures, etc.), speaker requests, keynotes and panel discussions, as well as calls for papers.
  • You are responsible for post-event activities, including documentation, performance evaluation and reporting.
  • You manage and brief external service providers/vendors and plan and control the budget in coordination with your team lead.
  • You work closely with the product and sales teams to align events with business objectives.
  • You provide relevant KPIs for performance measurement and to support data-driven decisions on a quarterly basis.

Requirements

  • You have completed a degree or vocational training in marketing, event management or communications management, or hold an equivalent qualification.
  • Ideally, you bring several years of experience in end-to-end marketing management and professional event management.
  • You enjoy interacting with people, are willing to travel, customer-service oriented, organized, creative and stay calm under pressure when things get hectic.
  • You are willing to familiarize yourself with complex topics such as the energy industry and electricity trading.
  • You have a technical understanding and are confident using digital tools (MS Teams, PowerPoint, etc.) and event technologies.
  • You value teamwork and collaboration with stakeholders as much as working independently and taking responsibility.
  • You bring people together and inspire them with your ideas.
  • You are fluent in German and English, both written and spoken, and have an excellent written communication style.
