About the role

  • Sales professional representing LOCALiQ's life magazines through telephone-based sales. Offering innovative advertising solutions while building relationships with local businesses.

Responsibilities

  • Identify and win new business by proactively reaching out to potential clients across your region using cold calling and outbound sales techniques
  • Work to clear financial targets and KPIs, consistently striving to exceed monthly revenue goals and performance benchmarks
  • Manage and grow existing client accounts, providing ongoing support, identifying upsell opportunities, and increasing client spend through strategic recommendations
  • Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline, using a consultative approach to move prospects through the sales cycle
  • Build long-term relationships with clients by providing expert advice, excellent service, and ongoing support
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and campaign delivery for new clients
  • Stay informed on industry trends, competitor activity, and LOCALiQ’s evolving product suite to maintain a competitive edge
  • Represent LOCALiQ with professionalism and credibility, acting as a trusted ambassador for our regional news brands

Requirements

  • Strong communication and influencing skills
  • Experience in outbound calling
  • Confident in securing new business over the phone
  • Able to grow and nurture existing client accounts
  • Delivers exceptional customer service
  • A consultative, client-focused approach to selling
  • Proven B2B sales experience (advantageous)
  • Understanding of multimedia advertising (advantageous)
  • Able to commute to the office
