  • Part Time 2nd Assistant Store Manager at Yankee Candle, responsible for supporting the Store Manager in delivering employee and guest experiences while driving sales growth.

Responsibilities

  • Support the Store Manager in executing various roles and responsibilities to deliver an exceptional employee and guest experience and drive profitable sales growth.
  • Assist in building a high-performing team that represents Newell Brand Values.
  • Contribute to effective onboarding and ongoing development of team members.
  • Create a store environment focused on delivering an exceptional guest experience.
  • Maximize sales potential by implementing company selling strategies and coaching to selling behaviors.
  • Maintain store appearance by implementing company visual standards and cleanliness.
  • Assist in analyzing the business and creating clear action plans for operational activities.
  • Ensure effective team communication and support inventory management activities.

Requirements

  • High School completion or equivalent GED
  • Proven experience in a retail management role (2 years preferred)
  • Strong leadership and team management skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficient in retail software and Microsoft Office
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Solution-oriented
  • Must be able to work in a fragrance-filled environment
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
