About the role

Responsibilities
- Administer and manage the EPA RTP Laboratory Ventilation Management Program.
- Coordinate site services related to laboratory ventilation systems.
- Schedule activities and ensure effective communication among stakeholders.
- Monitor performance of laboratory HVAC, electrical, and control systems.
- Manage ventilation-related data and maintain required documentation and records.
- Support operation and optimization of laboratory ventilation systems in research environments.
- Coordinate activities with the Project Manager, facilities staff, Quality Control personnel, and Government representatives.
- Ensure compliance with contract requirements, applicable codes, and EPA standards.
- Support inspections, assessments, and corrective actions related to laboratory ventilation systems.
Requirements
- Mechanical Engineering degree
- Minimum of five (5) years of operating experience with laboratory (or related application) HVAC, electrical, and control systems.
- Demonstrated experience supporting laboratory ventilation systems in complex facilities.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interface with Government personnel.
- Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
- Must be eligible to obtain and maintain access to EPA facilities.
- Must be authorized to work in the United States.
