About the role

  • Quality Control Manager overseeing quality for DAWSON's operations contract with the EPA. Implementing quality control programs and conducting compliance inspections in facilities operations.

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the Quality Control Manager (QCM) for DAWSONs Facilities Operations, Maintenance, and Support Services contract supporting the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency (EPA)
  • Establish, implement, and maintain the contract Quality Control Program (QCP) in accordance with contract requirements
  • Review plans, specifications, and task order requirements prior to execution to ensure compliance with contract and technical requirements
  • Perform quality control reviews of work performed to ensure quality of final product, code compliance, and conformance with approved plans and specifications
  • Conduct inspections and document findings throughout task order execution and upon completion of work
  • Identify deficiencies and ensure corrective actions are implemented and documented
  • Coordinate quality control activities with Government personnel, including the Contracting Officer (CO) and Contracting Officers Representative (COR)
  • Maintain required quality control documentation, inspection records, and reports
  • Ensure quality control processes are applied consistently across facilities operations, maintenance, repair, and construction activities
  • Report directly to a DAWSON official who is managerially senior to the on-site Project Manager

Requirements

  • Minimum of ten (10) years of experience performing quality control functions
  • Minimum of five (5) years of Project Management experience
  • Demonstrated experience supporting facilities operations, maintenance, repair, and construction activities in large or complex facilities.
  • Ability to independently implement and manage a Quality Control Program
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively interface with Government personnel.
  • Ability to read, write, and speak English fluently.
