Responsibilities
- Establish, analyze and optimize sourcing strategy for multiple component categories
- Manage supplier performance metrics such as contract and price negotiation, working capital efficiency, geographic supply diversification and risk mitigation, and single-supplier dependency reduction
- Develop and maintain supplier relationships that support KPI delivery
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to facilitate a winning culture with shared goals
- Partner with regional sourcing team to drive project execution and continuous supplier development that aligns with global supplier strategy
- Daily responsibilities include, but not limited to, NPD supplier selection, supplier consolidation/ introduction, savings negotiation, on time delivery, engineering changes, quality improvements
Requirements
- 5+ years of sourcing experience or demonstrated performance managing comparable scope of responsibility
- Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a Supply Chain, engineering or related field
- Demonstrated track record of leading teams and delivering results against performance metrics
- Strong analytical skills to evaluate data and make informed decisions
- Strong project management and communication skills
- Highly motivated and able to drive results independently and as part of a team
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally, up to 15%
