About the role

  • Associate Manager leading market development and planning for Kitchen brands at Newell Brands. Engaging in strategic commercialization and collaboration with Sales teams for successful execution.

Responsibilities

  • The Associate Manager of Market Development & Planning (MD&P) serves as expert voice of the Kitchen business for their respective category/brand responsibilities.
  • Working closely with Sales account management teams, the individual will help define commercialization strategies, manage retailer playbooks and execute assortment priorities for our food preservation brands.
  • This role serves as the voice of the Segment with Newell Brands’ Sales teams and serves as the Voice of the customer to the business segment.
  • This role helps capture actionable market insights and translates them into high-level sales strategies that drive growth for both the segment/brand and retail customers.
  • Helps develop Category Playbooks and tactics (DSMP expectations).
  • Helps prepare for Annual Planning with Segment sales following the Pan Newell corporate calendar.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field.
  • 2+ years in market planning, brand management, or related roles.
  • US retail customer knowledge is a plus.
  • Understanding of syndicated POS and Panel data.
  • Demonstrated ability to partner with multiple teams in a matrixed organization is a plus.
