Responsibilities
You are responsible for the entire sales cycle for bespoke software projects in the German banking and insurance sector – from qualification to closing
You identify opportunities through your own network, partner channels (consulting & ambassadors) and targeted outbound activities
You identify customer pain points and leverage our expertise and case studies to generate qualified interest and position appropriate solution approaches
You engage consultancies and relevant market players as targeted sales channels to identify demand for bespoke software projects early
You work closely with Key Account Management, Growth/Business Development, Product, Marketing and Strategy to develop cross- and upselling potential
You own the proposal process through to contract signature, coordinate pre-sales and delivery to define scope and effort estimates, and manage RFPs/RFIs as well as contract and price negotiations
You are responsible for forecast, pipeline, deal risks and commitments, transparently reporting to management and delivery
Requirements
8–10 years of enterprise sales experience in the financial services sector, ideally with a focus on the German banking market; experience in AT (Austria), LIE (Liechtenstein) or LUX (Luxembourg) is an advantage
Proven success closing complex software and IT projects (bespoke/custom development, modernization, migration) with a strong deal orientation and negotiation skills
Highly hands-on mentality with a solid network in the FS and consulting ecosystem
Strong communication skills and experience in cross-functional collaboration as well as in RFPs/RFIs, contract processes and managing pre-sales and delivery teams
Experience building new markets and opportunity sources from early-stage situations, plus fluent German and English; degree in business administration, business informatics or a related field

Experience selling or delivering bespoke software in the FS environment (e.g., digital portals, integrations, API-/cloud architectures)
Experience working with system houses, core banking vendors or specialized FS-tech integrators in DE/AT/LIE/LUX
Knowledge of relevant tendering and procurement processes and existing relationships with specialized consultancies in the FS sector
