About the role

  • Store Manager leading store team at Nespresso House in Munich. Ensuring operational excellence and a great customer experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the team together with a colleague
  • Ensure the best possible working atmosphere to create a motivating environment and support the teams
  • Coach the team and act as a role model in sales processes through active presence on the sales floor to advise customers and sell products
  • Continuously develop and expand team competencies
  • Conduct regular employee reviews and development measures regarding coffee expertise, customer retention, and service
  • Enhance the customer experience
  • Excellent execution of the "Sales through Service" philosophy in the boutique
  • Improve service quality and customer satisfaction
  • Deliver the ultimate coffee experience in the boutique
  • Ensure smooth day-to-day operations
  • Implement all regional and national marketing activities
  • Organize administrative tasks and inventory management
  • Staff scheduling
  • Collaborate with Head Office contacts and the works council
  • Handle customer complaints
  • Maintain the customer database carefully
  • Communicate with service providers to ensure smooth boutique operations (security, premises cleanliness, maintenance)
  • Ensure adequate stock levels and check deliveries
  • Responsible for compliance with all occupational health and safety regulations
  • Achieve sales and profit targets as defined in the annual budget

Requirements

  • 3–5 years of relevant experience in retail, foodservice, hospitality, or a similar sector with staff responsibility
  • University of Applied Sciences degree and/or completed commercial/business training
  • Several years' experience in leading and motivating employees
  • Initial experience with inventory management processes and cash handling responsibilities
  • Experience with budget responsibility, financials, and relevant KPIs
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Empathy and strength in building intercultural relationships with employees and customers
  • Ability to multitask and adapt flexibly
  • Very good German and English skills
  • Proficiency in Office programs (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
