About the role

  • SEO Manager developing SEO strategies and managing cross-functional teams at Neighborly. Enhancing visibility and organic traffic through innovative SEO practices and analytics.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute comprehensive SEO strategies to improve organic search rankings and enhance visibility in both traditional and AI-driven search engine results pages (SERPs)
  • Conduct in-depth keyword research, including identifying high-value keywords and long-tail query opportunities optimized for conversational and semantic search queries
  • Optimize website content, including meta tags, headers, URLs, and images, ensuring strict adherence to SEO best practices, with a focus on topical authority and clear, structured data to facilitate AI visibility
  • Develop and execute inbound and outbound link-building strategies within helpful content to gather quality backlinks and citations across the SERPs and LLMs
  • Monitor and analyze the backlink profile to ensure the quality and relevance of inbound links, quickly addressing any issues that could negatively impact search engine trust and ranking potential.
  • Stay relentlessly up-to-date with industry trends, algorithm updates (including advancements in AI search/generative result ranking models), and platform changes to ensure strategies remain effective and future-proof.
  • Utilize advanced SEO tools and analytics platforms to track and report on key SEO metrics, such as organic traffic, rankings, conversions, and visibility within AI-generated search summaries.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to align SEO efforts with overall business goals, particularly in areas that support E-E-A-T (Experience, Expertise, Authoritativeness, and Trustworthiness)
  • Manage the Onboarding Process in alignment with the Digital Marketing Coordinator, Local Marketing Manager, and Sure Start Business Coach.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in organic search engine optimization, search marketing, web development, content marketing, or related experience.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in team management
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a client-facing role
  • Experience in Property Management/Real Estate a plus
  • Experience in franchise marketing management a plus
  • Expertise in SEO tools such as SEMrush, Google Analytics, Google Search Console, etc.
  • A data-driven mindset with strong analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of Google Quality Guidelines and current SEO trends and best practices.
  • Project management skills, with the ability to meet deadlines and manage resources efficiently.
  • Bachelor’s preferred but not required.
  • Relevant online certifications a plus.
