About the role
- Customer-facing Engineer providing Day 2 Service Assurance Support for SDWAN and network infrastructure. Involves design, deployment and troubleshooting of network connections.
Responsibilities
- High level customer-facing engineering support focused on Day 2 Service Assurance Support
- Hands-on SDWAN/IP router/switch/firewall/telephony customer premises equipment
- Design, configure and deploy LAN and WAN network connections, hardware, software and communication links and services
- Optimize the network and systems services and troubleshoot any network performance issues
- Responsible for the service provision and monitoring of network infrastructure to company standards
- Work directly with customers to troubleshoot and resolve network issues
- Consistent attendance and flexibility to work various shifts including nights and weekends.
- Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- 5 to 8 years’ experience with Fortinet product line, primarily, but also Cisco and Nokia routers
- Strong knowledge of internetworking designs and their applications and routing
- Solid knowledge of Layer 2 and Layer 3 internetworking technologies
- Extensive Firewall experience
- Certifications such as ( Fortinet Professional - required , Fortinet Expert - preferred, CCNA, CCNP, CCIE)
- Must own the customer experience and drive results and growth
