About the role

  • Business and Financial Analyst tasked with financial and data analyses for Navitas' operations in North America. Supporting reporting requirements and collaborating with stakeholders in Burnaby, British Columbia.

Responsibilities

  • Monitor financial performance of each business unit in North America
  • Compile financial and operating data, perform variance analysis, and draft reporting materials
  • Respond to ad-hoc information requests from Head Office
  • Collaborate with marketing teams and support bi-monthly reporting
  • Provide analytical and system support for budgeting processes
  • Assist in preparing presentations for senior management
  • Develop financial projection models for new business opportunities

Requirements

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in finance or accounting
  • At least 3 years of post-graduation work experience in financial reporting or business analysis
  • A financial designation (CPA, CFA etc.) or in pursuance of a financial designation
  • Strong understanding of financial concepts and ability to develop new financial models
  • High degree of computer literacy, including proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
  • Legal authorization to work in Canada
  • Valid passport and ability to travel internationally and domestically
