About the role

Responsibilities
- Design and maintain secure, automated cloud infrastructure using AWS and modern DevOps tools like Terraform and CloudFormation.
- Build and operationalize scalable application configurations and deployment pipelines.
- Collaborate with engineering and product teams to deliver high-performance, secure features.
- Continuously monitor and improve application and infrastructure health through innovative solutions.
- Stay current with AWS advancements and emerging cloud technologies.
Requirements
- A university degree or college diploma in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years' experience in Software Development.
- At least 1-year hands-on experience designing and building systems using AWS (or completion of AWS Cloud Practitioner certification).
- A strong grasp of microservices, data lakes, distributed systems, and multi-account architecture.
- Proficiency in Java, Python, and Bash for developing and automating cloud-based solutions.
- Hands-on experience with Linux environments, virtualization, and network administration.
- Solid understanding of security principles to ensure robust and secure infrastructure.
- Nice to Have AWS certifications would be an asset.
- Experience working with AWS API gateway.
