About the role

  • Senior Corporate Counsel managing supplier agreements and compliance for a procurement firm. Collaborating with internal teams and external partners in a regulated industry.

Responsibilities

  • Reporting to the General Counsel, you will be a key member of the legal team, providing strategic legal guidance and transactional support across the organization
  • Focus on managing supplier and member agreements, advising on compliance matters, and supporting group purchasing operations in a highly regulated industry
  • Partner with internal business leaders to ensure sound and strategic advice to drive growth and operational excellence, while also managing relationships with external stakeholders
  • Liaise with outside counsel as needed
  • This position offers broad exposure across all lines of business and the opportunity to influence critical initiatives in a fast-growing, well-resourced company.

Requirements

  • J.D. from an ABA-accredited, nationally recognized law school; strong academic credentials required
  • Licensed to practice law in at least one U.S. jurisdiction
  • 5+ years of legal experience, ideally at a large law firm; additional in-house experience a plus
  • M&A experience strongly preferred
  • Proven ability to manage a high volume of complex legal projects and competing priorities
  • Expertise in drafting and negotiating commercial, procurement, and supply chain agreements
  • Understanding of group purchasing operations preferred
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work collaboratively with senior management and external parties
  • Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills; self-starter with sound judgment under pressure.
