About the role

  • Internship roles in social media marketing, e-commerce, and impact programs at a social startup based in Mannheim. Focus on innovative social solutions and community engagement.

Responsibilities

  • You will independently manage myBuddy Snacks' social media channels in close coordination with our founder.
  • You will run the full marketing spectrum, from strategic content development in line with the myBuddy brand
  • including creating both static and motion content
  • You will moderate social media channels and manage community interactions
  • You will manage and optimize online sales activities
  • from planning sales campaigns in line with quarterly targets
  • to setting up and optimizing email marketing and paid ads
  • to analyzing and improving digital conversion funnels for the myBuddy online shops
  • You will be responsible for ongoing optimization of listings, landing pages, and customer journeys
  • You will support performance analysis and reporting
  • You will independently conceive, develop, and operationally oversee a new Bundestag internship format
  • You will own the program, from strategic adaptation to further development of the existing Bundestag format
  • including recruiting and liaising with Members of Parliament
  • You will create the application process and selection of participants, and plan and organize the entire internship schedule
  • You will accompany the program on-site, coordinate all relevant stakeholders, and make the program visible on myBuddy Programs' social media channels.

Requirements

  • You are typically currently studying or in vocational training with a focus on business administration
  • You have already gained initial work experience in project settings during your studies/training
  • Additional leadership experience (e.g., in student associations or extracurricular clubs and organizations) is an advantage
  • Excellent awareness of socio-political topics and developments in Germany
  • Work experience in (social) start-ups or management consulting is a plus
  • Cultural knowledge and work experience in international or intercultural contexts are advantageous
  • Knowledge of developments in the European/German social entrepreneurship scene is a plus
  • Professional proficiency in at least German and English.
