About the role

  • Operations Manager in aviation overseeing survey operations and project delivery. Ensuring operational excellence and collaboration with leadership on high-profile geospatial projects.

Responsibilities

  • Take overall responsibility for the operations of the Aviation department.
  • Ensure efficient scheduling of staff and equipment across projects.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and finance teams to monitor and deliver projects within budget.
  • Provide superior client service, including quotations, tender submissions, and delivery of key data.
  • Maintain quality assurance standards across all departmental work.
  • Promote and ensure Health & Safety compliance.
  • Support recruitment and training within the department.
  • Undertake site/survey activities as required for project delivery.
  • Communicate effectively with other departments regarding technical procedures and workflows.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Senior Surveyor (demonstrating competency).
  • Degree in surveying or related field (desirable).
  • Health, Safety and Environmental training (SPA, RAMS, lone working, etc.).
  • CSCS card and relevant management training.
  • Valid UK manual driving licence.
  • Willingness to travel nationwide when required.
