About the role
- Operations Manager in aviation overseeing survey operations and project delivery. Ensuring operational excellence and collaboration with leadership on high-profile geospatial projects.
Responsibilities
- Take overall responsibility for the operations of the Aviation department.
- Ensure efficient scheduling of staff and equipment across projects.
- Collaborate with senior leadership and finance teams to monitor and deliver projects within budget.
- Provide superior client service, including quotations, tender submissions, and delivery of key data.
- Maintain quality assurance standards across all departmental work.
- Promote and ensure Health & Safety compliance.
- Support recruitment and training within the department.
- Undertake site/survey activities as required for project delivery.
- Communicate effectively with other departments regarding technical procedures and workflows.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Senior Surveyor (demonstrating competency).
- Degree in surveying or related field (desirable).
- Health, Safety and Environmental training (SPA, RAMS, lone working, etc.).
- CSCS card and relevant management training.
- Valid UK manual driving licence.
- Willingness to travel nationwide when required.
