About the role

  • Set the marketing strategy and priorities for Brazil, defining long-term growth objectives in collaboration with MUBI’s Senior Director of Marketing, LATAM
  • Develop new partnership ideas and marketing activities to raise MUBI’s profile and grow the subscriber base
  • Work closely with our in-house creative team to develop creative marketing campaigns
  • Manage relationships with key contacts at partner organisations and with the press
  • Monitor trends and dynamics in the local SVOD market, the film industry, and the evolving digital landscape
  • Maintain a constant focus on performance metrics with your team — analyse and evaluate all marketing activities to determine impact and optimise to continuously improve KPIs
  • Organise screenings and events in coordination with our global programming and distribution teams
  • Collaborate with the global programming team to support and promote content releases on the platform in Brazil
  • Manage a small team including a Marketing Manager and a Social Media Coordinator

Requirements

  • Passionate about film
  • Experience working for a global entertainment, lifestyle, or technology brand
  • Strong understanding of current streaming landscape dynamics in Brazil and globally
  • 7–10 years of relevant marketing and management experience
  • Extensive experience developing consumer-facing brand marketing strategies and planning and executing campaigns, with specific knowledge of Brazilian audiences
  • Confident in managing and developing small teams
  • Entrepreneurial mindset, highly self-motivated, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Creative thinker with original ideas and a willingness to look beyond easy answers to find the best solution
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Team player who enjoys collaborating with cross-functional counterparts
  • Confident and effective communicator with strong writing skills
  • Analytics-driven, able to define appropriate KPIs, measure and evaluate campaign effectiveness, and optimise accordingly
  • Able to manage a substantial budget and allocate resources efficiently and shrewdly
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in a related field
  • Fluency in Portuguese and English; additional languages are a plus
