About the role
- Senior Consultant in banking consulting focusing on risk management and controlling. Support in various bank projects as a specialist, analyst, and project leader with regulatory compliance.
Responsibilities
- To strengthen our team we are looking for several Senior Consultants in bank-wide management / risk controlling / risk management (m/f/d)
- Participation in various banking projects as a subject matter expert, business analyst, tester, coordinator, project manager, etc.
- Development of strategies, methods and processes for current issues faced by financial services providers
- Supporting our clients in meeting regulatory requirements, e.g., research, preparation, presentation and implementation of regulatory requirements for risk controlling and risk management within project work (CRD, CRR, IRRBB, MaRisk, ESG, etc.)
- If applicable, project-related data processing using VBA, Excel, Access, SQL, Python, R.
Requirements
- Completed academic degree (Mathematics, Physics, Business Informatics, Economics, Business Administration, etc.)
- Several years of experience in bank controlling or bank management in a banking or consulting environment
- A strong sense for appropriate task prioritization
- Open to new topics and passionate about quantitative, analytical and regulatory issues
- Independent, analytical and structured working approach
- An open personality and a friendly, professional manner with clients and colleagues
- A high degree of teamwork and team orientation
- Very good German and at least working knowledge of English
- Ideally also confident handling of data processing (VBA/Excel, VBA/Access, SQL, etc.)
- Willingness to travel.
