About the role

  • Senior Product Manager driving strategic market expansion for Motive’s Spend Management offering. Collaborating with Sales and Marketing teams to launch products in high-growth sectors.

Responsibilities

  • Define the long-term product vision and MVP for Motive Card entry into new sectors and markets.
  • Conduct deep customer research, identify Ideal Customer Profiles (ICPs), and outline the feature set necessary for successful adoption.
  • Develop the product strategy & roadmap by partnering closely with key stakeholders (including other PMs, PMMs, AEs, SEs) to introduce Motive Card into new sectors and/or international geographies, prioritizing based on market opportunity and operational readiness.
  • Align priorities & Execute effectively on this roadmap by collaborating cross-functionally with Sales, Finance, Legal, Risk, Compliance, and Engineering teams.
  • Develop and articulate clear metrics, business requirements, goals, and user stories.
  • Own and maintain detailed product documentation, including Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), wireframes, and process flows, ensuring seamless execution by engineering teams.
  • Serve as the primary product Subject Matter Expert (SME) for expansion initiatives, supporting Sales and Business Development with deep product knowledge and strategic positioning.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management (B2B/Fintech experience is a plus)
  • Direct experience launching products into new, complex, or regulated sectors, or significant experience with 0-to-1 product development
  • Experience launching products in new geographies is a plus.
  • High customer empathy with a proven ability to conduct customer discovery, market analysis, and translate findings into clear, impactful product strategy.
  • Be data-driven, with a track record of using data and metrics to back up assumptions, build business cases, and make product decisions.
  • Sufficient technical knowledge to understand platform capabilities, dependencies, and to earn the respect and trust of software engineers.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills and a high EQ, enabling to work effectively with remote teams and manage stakeholders across all levels of seniority.
  • Experience in an agile product development environment is essential.
