About the role

- Identifying and validating data sources that create and support various metrics.
- Partnering with control owners, project managers and data providers to on-board new data feeds.
- Cleansing and preparation of data for analysis.
- Resolving issues such as missing or inconsistent data.
- Aligning multiple large datasets with varying types and formats.
- Creation and presentation of metric calculations.
- Visualization and representation of metric graphs and charts.
- Creation of key metrics documentation.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of demonstrable data analysis experience.
- Experience in delivery of technology related metrics and analytics.
- Excellent Excel skills including string manipulation functions, VLOOKUP’s, macros and Pivot tables.
- Excellent SQL skills including queries and working with relational databases.
- Experience in data visualization including high impact dashboards in Power BI.
- Basic understanding of technology risk and controls with a focus on data security a plus.
- Strong communication and organization skills.
- Naturally proactive and ability to thrive where there's ambiguity.
- Comfortable working with a high level of independence.
- An interest in emerging technologies such as Generative AI and developing real-life applications.
- Nice to have - Use of tools like Power Automate to driven efficiency.
- Nice to have - Expertise in data modelling such as star schema.
