- Senior Data Analyst in Telenor Shared Services using data analysis to influence strategic and operational decisions. Responsible for designing analysis models, visualizations, and insights for business workflows.
Responsibilities
- Translate complex, multi-source data into clear, business-ready narratives that directly influence strategic and operational decisions.
- Lead analysis across 'what happened, why it happened, what will likely happen, and what should be done,' enabling proactive rather than reactive business actions.
- Leverage GenAI tools and workflow automation to improve speed, accuracy, and scalability of analysis while applying strong judgment on output reliability.
- Promote data-backed actionability across teams, simplify complex patterns for stakeholders, and collaborate cross-functionally to prioritize measurable business impact.
- Convert organizational data into deep insights with no-code and low-code tools.
- Handhold end users using generative AI to create insights.
- Design statistically accurate business analysis models such as product profitability, financial risk exposure, sales opportunities, etc.
- Help engineering teams source the right data and help business users build the right understanding from the data by building intermediary analysis models.
- Design statistical analysis models that help answer key business questions.
- Design context-sensitive, meaningful, interactive visualizations that are consumable by both internal users and external customers.

Requirements
- Extensive experience with data analysis in telco or digital domains
- Several years of experience with business analysis and building models to answer key business questions
- Relevant bachelor’s or master’s degree (e.g. Mathematics, Computer Science, Statistics, Business Administration (MBA) or similar)
- Experience with Python and SQL
- Experience with inferring statistical models e.g. structural equation modeling, multi-level modeling, MANOVA, survival analysis, time-series, volatility prediction, Markov chains, clustering, segmentation, PCA, etc.
- Experience automating the business analysis workflow with GenAI tools
- Experience with no-code tools to combine Tableau data in agentic workflow platforms
- Some experience in identifying data quality issues and building data quality controls
- Experience working with enterprise class data platforms - RedShift, Databricks, dbt Cloud and Tableau
- Some understanding of data engineering is preferred, for e.g. setting up data pipelines and data APIs.
- Some experience with Model Context Protocol for data analysis
- Having excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact effectively with clients and stakeholders at all levels.
