About the role

  • Assistente contábil/fiscal handling invoicing, tax calculations, and compliance documents for Morais de Castro's chemical sector. Ensuring legal obligations and supporting internal clients.

Responsibilities

  • Posting and verification of tax invoices (purchases, sales, returns, consignments/shipments, and imports);
  • Issuance of billing/invoicing and other revenue documents;
  • Determination and calculation of taxes, such as ISS (own, third parties, substitute and freight), ICMS, PIS, COFINS, CSLL and IRRF;
  • Preparation and submission of tax filings and ancillary obligations, such as DCTF, ECF, DIRF, SPED Fiscal, GIA, SINTEGRA, DMA and FCI;
  • Inventory control and closing, import cost accounting, and CIAP (ICMS Permanent Asset Credit Control);
  • Monitoring and regularization of tax matters;
  • Monitoring and verification of documents in the Arquivei system;
  • Internal client support and assistance to the commercial/sales team, clarifying questions about invoice issuance and tax processes.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting (in progress or completed)
  • Basic computer skills (Microsoft Office)
  • Experience in the role
  • Experience with the Protheus ERP system is a plus
