About the role

  • Design intern collaborating in real web design projects and UI/UX components at a digital company in Saarbrücken. Work involves hands-on design work in a flexible environment.

Responsibilities

  • Design is more than just “pretty” for us — it is the digital foundation of our projects.
  • You are a digital native and want to help shape real projects instead of just working on hypothetical tasks at university.
  • Your contribution plays a decisive role for our development team.

Requirements

  • You are studying Design, Communication Design, Media Art & Design or a related subject with a focus on Web Design / Digital Design.
  • You have already gained initial practical experience with UI/UX design, design systems or web projects.
  • You are confident using common tools such as Figma, Canva, Adobe XD or similar.
  • You have an eye for detail, a sense for modern digital design and an interest in technical relationships.
  • You communicate clearly — in German and (when required) in English.

Benefits

  • Hands-on design projects: You work directly on web designs, digital interfaces and UI components for real client projects.
  • Independence & responsibility: From the start you are integrated into the design team, can contribute your ideas and take ownership of tasks.
  • Mentoring & development: Our experienced Team Lead acts as your sparring partner — you learn in a practical, efficient and in-depth way.
  • Collaboration & agility: We work collaboratively, flexibly and with modern tools — you are part of a team.
  • Work–life balance: You work 16–20 hours per week — primarily onsite in our office (being on-site is important to us!), with a remote option.
