Responsibilities

  • Responsible for freight billing and acting as liaison with logistics finance team
  • Facilitate training within transportation services
  • Serve on project teams as a SME for transportation systems
  • Receive, audit, and process invoices from international transportation vendors
  • Troubleshoot systems, EDI, Rates, Billing
  • Maintain system data and rate integrity
  • Coordinate air and less than container load shipments
  • Negotiate best cost and service through competitive quotation process
  • Work with IS, freight audit, port operations for financial reporting

Requirements

  • High School Diploma Required
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred
  • 5-10 years’ experience in transportation services
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient in decision making and critical thinking
  • Advanced level understanding of all transportation systems
  • Ability to read transportation contracts
  • Advanced technical skills in Microsoft Office
