About the role
- Strategic Supply Chain Planner creating capacity plans and influencing long-range strategies at Dexcom, a leader in continuous glucose monitoring.
Responsibilities
- Develop and evaluate multiple supply scenarios that balance strategic objectives, cost targets, capacity requirements, risk mitigation, and service trade-offs to influence long-term decisions
- Create long-range capacity plans for global manufacturing sites and contract manufacturers, aligned to product launches and lifecycle evolution
- Partner with global planning, operations, sourcing, engineering, and finance teams to build robust supply strategies and business cases
- Perform advanced data analysis and scenario modeling using Excel and planning systems
- Present recommendations and business cases to leadership to support network optimization and capital investment decisions
- Conduct system testing and support digital transformation initiatives for new planning tools and processes
- Support continuous improvement efforts that enhance planning accuracy, efficiency, and scalability
Requirements
- ASCM, CSCMP, ISCEA, or similar supply chain certifications
- Experience collaborating with BI teams to develop tools in Anaplan, Tableau, Power BI, or similar platforms
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, Economics, Engineering, or Information Systems
- 8–12 years of industry experience, including 3–5 years in planning within global manufacturing environments in life sciences, consumer electronics, medical devices, or pharmaceuticals
- Deep knowledge of supply planning principles and fundamentals across inventory, capacity, and network planning
