About the role

  • Showroom Sales Specialist advising on tile and stone selections for customers. Engaging with designers and builders to enhance sales experience at Dal-Tile in Dallas.

Responsibilities

  • Provides interior design advice and product expertise, facilitating tile and stone selection.
  • Logs all client showroom visits, contact information, and detailed customer preference notes in CMT.
  • Communicates with customers and internal team members for lead follow-up and sales closure.
  • Prospects for new business, focusing on Custom Builders and Residential Designers.
  • Maintains showroom samples and merchandising, ordering and receiving models and displays.
  • Plans and hosts showroom tours and events to drive customer sales.

Requirements

  • A four-year degree in a related field or a combination of a two-year degree with two years of related experience.
  • Sales/Customer engagement/Customer service skills.
  • Design, sketching, reading blueprints, color coordination, interior design trends expertise.
  • Creative thinking and ability to conceptualize innovative solutions.
  • Computer skills – MS Office, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint; Customer management tools a plus.
  • Excellent oral, written, listening, and interpersonal communication skills necessary to interact with customers and team members effectively.
