Responsibilities
Responsibility for revenue development in the South-East sales territory
Build and maintain business relationships and identify market potential
Expand and deepen a cross-departmental network of contacts at strategic and prospective customers
Acquire customer-specific project inquiries
Provide technical customer consultation on the use of standardized catalogue products
Act as coordination point/interface to the customer during proposal preparation by the inside sales team
Systematically follow up on customer-specific and standardized quotations
Identify product trends in the market for new innovations and submit proposals for new products
Win new customers for the entire product portfolio
Requirements
Completed technical degree or comparable qualification in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics
Sales experience (at least 1–2 years) with technically complex products, ideally in LED-based solutions for ambient and functional lighting as well as modern control and display elements for front panels
Goal-oriented and reliable personality who ambitiously pursues set targets and actively contributes and implements ideas in the further development and support of key accounts
Strong moderation, presentation and project management experience
Negotiation skills, customer- and solution-orientation, and empathy
Confident use of Microsoft Office applications
Work based at the headquarters in Erkrath
Willingness to travel and stay overnight
Driver’s license (car)
