About the role

  • Team Leader managing fresh food counters in HIT supermarket; responsible for inventory, customer service, and team leadership.

Responsibilities

  • You independently manage the fresh and service counters in your HIT store
  • You ensure product availability and that inventory and performance figures in your area of responsibility are accurate
  • Together with your team, you arrange and present products attractively
  • You provide individual, personal, expert and friendly advice and service to customers
  • You are responsible for the service counters and ensure the optimal performance of the associated refrigerated displays and chests
  • Through careful staff scheduling and your talent for motivating, developing and inspiring employees, you ensure a smoothly functioning team

Requirements

  • Completed training as a specialist sales assistant in the fresh-food sector (Fachverkäufer/in im Frischebereich) or as a butcher
  • Ideally: master butcher certification or further qualification as a meat or cheese sommelier
  • Preferably initial leadership experience at service counters
  • Excellent knowledge of charcuterie, meat, cheese and fish products
  • An outgoing, responsible team-player personality
