About the role

• Release Manager leading software release lifecycle for Mobileye's road mapping technology. Collaborating across teams to ensure high-quality map deployments for autonomous vehicles.

Responsibilities

• High-impact role where you'll define the cadence and quality of our product delivery. You'll work directly with top technical talent and have the autonomy to implement the best practices required to scale our engineering operations.
• Define, document, and manage the end-to-end release process, ensuring consistency and predictability across all environments.
• Manage and communicate risks, dependencies, and mitigation strategies related to releases.
• Maintain a high-level technical understanding of the core product interaction points between various software components.
• Drive best practices for Git branching strategies, specifically managing release, stable, and cascading branches to maintain code integrity and stability.
• Serve as the central point of contact, facilitating cross-functional coordination between engineering, QA, product, and operations team leads.
• Effectively manage and resist pressure from various team leads and stakeholders regarding scope, schedules, and priorities.
• Utilize Python proficiency to develop and maintain automation scripts, tooling, and utilities that streamline the release process and improve efficiency.

Requirements

• 5+ years in a Release Management, DevOps, or Senior Software Engineering role, with significant experience managing complex, multi-component releases.
• Demonstrated ability to comprehend complex technical architectures, software flows, and the interaction between components without needing to be the subject matter expert.
• Proficiency in Git, including advanced concepts like rebasing, merge strategies, tag management, and the implementation of flow models (e.g., GitFlow, Trunk-Based Development).
• Proficiency in Python is mandatory for automation and pipeline management.
• Excellent interpersonal and collaboration skills, including the ability to influence and align diverse teams. Proven ability to handle high-pressure situations, manage competing priorities, and drive cross-functional alignment.
