About the role

Responsibilities
- Advising and supporting client employees during the implementation of pension schemes in occupational pensions (bAV) and comparable benefits solutions
- Delivering employee presentations to introduce the bAV and providing personal consultations, including on-site at client locations
- Organising and moderating benefit selection/choice rounds as part of occupational pension arrangements
- Coordinating and liaising with other departments to efficiently implement client requirements
- Providing technical and sales-oriented support to the existing client portfolio
- Contributing to internal projects to further develop Mercer’s advisory and solutions portfolio
Requirements
- A completed university degree, vocational training as an insurance and finance specialist, or equivalent qualifications
- Initial advisory experience in occupational pensions (bAV) at a consulting firm, in a company’s HR or finance department, or with a life insurer
- Knowledge of employment, social security and tax law; a good numerical/mathematical understanding is also helpful
- Client-focused and sales-oriented mindset with a confident manner
- Independent and structured way of working
- Customer-oriented approach in both technical and commercial aspects
- Enjoyment of advising others, openness and strong team skills
- Excellent German (C1) and good English (B2) skills, both written and spoken
