About the role

  • Camp Counselor assisting with High School Engineering Week program in San Diego. Supporting daily activities, ensuring participant engagement and safety.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare materials required for activities, such as flyers and schedules
  • Facilitate daily activities, including presentations, building events, and travel to and from site visits
  • Supervise participants and provide assistance to those needing additional help
  • Maintain the cleanliness of conference rooms and office spaces used for activities
  • Learn and implement safety protocols to ensure participant protection
  • Conduct debriefing sessions after Engineering Week and offer suggestions for future programs
  • Communicate with parents and facilitate group discussions

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • Possess excellent verbal, written, and presentation communication skills
  • Be available and willing to travel
  • Hold a valid driver’s license in good standing
  • Prior experience as an alumnus of Highschool Engineering Week is preferred
  • All new hires will be required to successfully complete and pass a pre-employment (post offer) background check in compliance with NIST 800-171.
