About the role
- Broker managing insurance engineering lines, analyzing and placing risks for diverse clients. Engaging in national and international risk mitigation strategies while ensuring compliance and client consultation.
Responsibilities
- Our brokers view our clients' risks from a holistic perspective
- They analyze and assess risks, design national and international coverage concepts, prepare tenders for complex insurance programs, and negotiate and place them
- They review, compare, evaluate and document policies and wordings, and provide recommendations for action
- They provide customer-focused advice on existing coverage gaps and assess compliance-relevant matters
- They are also responsible for timely premium collection and issuing insurance confirmations
- In addition, they provide technical support to our sales team in connection with acquisitions and tenders for new and existing business, and work on internal cross-line and cross-department projects
Requirements
- Completed vocational training as an insurance and finance clerk or equivalent training; alternatively, career changers may have a completed university degree — preferably with a technical focus
- Relevant professional experience in the insurance sector or a comparable industry
- Good written and spoken German and English
- Good MS Office skills
