About the role
- Host and engage scheduling business process to ensure scheduling solution has positive impact in Micron FABs
- Develop business case, including impact validation approach, ROI of potential solutions and prioritize & propose projects for implementation.
- Quantify, track, and monitor financial/operational impact of solutions to the business.
- Develop high quality data analytics and applications that provides insights and drive actions to enable management and manufacturing teams to make informed decisions.
- Work with management, different departments, and global manufacturing sites to identify optimization opportunities and deliver solutions to continuously improve production metrics.
- Drive global collaboration, alignment, and benchmarking of scheduling and simulation solutions.
Requirements
- Strong FAB operation domain knowledge and with experience in project driving.
- Masters/Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Operations Research, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Data Science, other technical disciplines, or equivalent professional work experience.
- Programming language capability on C#, Python, SQL; experience with Snowflake, GCP and JS
- Knowledge and experience in simulation, factory scheduling, optimization, machine learning, reinforcement learning preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills with logical approach.
