Telecom Wireless Analyst managing enterprise wireless telecom operations for federal government clients. Handling service requests, usage monitoring, and ensuring efficient delivery of mobility services.
Responsibilities
Process wireless service requests, including activations, upgrades, disconnects, and device replacements using TurningPoint’s commercial software.
Manage mobility assets and inventory, ensuring accuracy of device assignments, numbers, and service plans.
Monitor wireless usage, identify cost-savings opportunities, and recommend plan optimization.
Coordinate with wireless carriers to resolve service, billing, and provisioning issues.
Validate and reconcile monthly carrier invoices, escalating discrepancies and tracking resolution.
Provide reporting and analytics on wireless usage, costs, and trends for management review.
Support mobility security and compliance standards (device encryption, policies, and MDM as applicable).
Requirements
Minimum of three (3) years of experience in telecom/wireless service management, provisioning, or telecom expense analysis.
Familiarity with wireless carriers, plans, and devices (smartphones, tablets, MiFi, IoT).
Experience working with TEMS (Telecom Expense Management Systems) or mobility management platforms is a plus.
Strong Excel/data analysis skills with the ability to identify trends and cost drivers.
Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance which requires U.S. Citizenship.
