About the role
- Telecom Wireless Analyst managing enterprise wireless telecom operations for federal government clients. Handling service requests, usage monitoring, and ensuring efficient delivery of mobility services.
Responsibilities
- Process wireless service requests, including activations, upgrades, disconnects, and device replacements using TurningPoint’s commercial software.
- Manage mobility assets and inventory, ensuring accuracy of device assignments, numbers, and service plans.
- Monitor wireless usage, identify cost-savings opportunities, and recommend plan optimization.
- Coordinate with wireless carriers to resolve service, billing, and provisioning issues.
- Validate and reconcile monthly carrier invoices, escalating discrepancies and tracking resolution.
- Provide reporting and analytics on wireless usage, costs, and trends for management review.
- Support mobility security and compliance standards (device encryption, policies, and MDM as applicable).
Requirements
- Minimum of three (3) years of experience in telecom/wireless service management, provisioning, or telecom expense analysis.
- Familiarity with wireless carriers, plans, and devices (smartphones, tablets, MiFi, IoT).
- Experience working with TEMS (Telecom Expense Management Systems) or mobility management platforms is a plus.
- Strong Excel/data analysis skills with the ability to identify trends and cost drivers.
- Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance which requires U.S. Citizenship.
