About the role

Responsibilities
- In your role as Precious Metal Incident Manager, you will handle precious metal incidents (PM incidents) at Heraeus Precious Metals International with a focus on Hanau.
- You will work closely with stakeholders from production, customer service, compliance and legal.
- Your responsibilities include recording, assessing, analyzing and investigating precious metal incidents, as well as tracking and following up on improvement measures.
- Regular reporting and discussion of cases with top management are also part of your duties.
- In addition, you will contribute subject-matter expertise to process improvements and to the further development of the department’s IT systems.
Requirements
- Completed degree or vocational training with a technical or commercial background.
- Relevant professional experience in an industrial company, ideally in the precious metals sector.
- Knowledge of production processes or controlling/accounting processes in the precious metals field.
- Strong communication skills and conflict-resolution ability — also in challenging situations.
- High willingness to learn and the motivation to acquire knowledge in new subject areas.
- Strong communication skills in German and English.
- Team player with a cooperative approach, particularly when working with company management.
