Requirements

  • Licensed to practice law in Michigan, qualified to be admitted by waiver, or able to take the next Michigan bar exam
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, analytical and problem‐solving skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to protecting the rights of immigrants or other persons in poverty
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
  • Proficient with major software including Word, Excel, G Suite
  • Access to a reliable internet connection for remote work
  • Experience related to immigration and poverty preferred
  • Preference for candidates who can effectively communicate in Spanish
  • Relevant lived experience encouraged
