About the role
- GIS Mapping Analyst handling geospatial data for PG&E's Distribution Vegetation Management Programs. Focusing on data compilations, analyses, and training support to enhance team collaboration and efficiency.
Responsibilities
- Compile, manipulate, and analyze geospatial data.
- Design, develop, and maintain databases and systems of GIS data.
- Create reports, maps, applications, and visualizations conveying the results of spatial analyses.
- Utilizes scripting languages to refine GIS data pipelines and processes.
- Provide GIS training or assistance to other organization members.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Health and Safety, Forestry related discipline, or equivalent work experience.
- Two years job-related experience (i.e., Utility Tree Crew).
- OSHA 30 Hour Certification.
