About the role
- Contract Vegetation Program Manager overseeing tree pruning and vegetation management for PG&E's Transmission Structure Risk Reduction Program. Support operations and ensure compliance with PG&E's specifications and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities
- Provide supervisory oversight in line clearance tree pruning and vegetation management
- Support operations and work on process improvement initiatives
- Assist with difficult customer interactions and complaints
- Monitor progress of pre-inspection and tree work completion
- Assist with agency meetings and field visits to review VM work
Requirements
- A two-year degree in forestry or a related field
- Two (2) years’ experience in line clearance tree pruning work or equivalent
- Familiarity with Contractor's work practices and proper arboricultural techniques
- Knowledge of PG&E's Tree Pruning Specification 5404 and Pre-Inspection Specification 4851
- Understanding of all applicable legal and regulatory requirements
