About the role

  • Trainee Marketing role providing insights into product management for an international pharmaceutical company. In-depth engagement in marketing strategies and project management over an 18-month period.

Responsibilities

  • As a trainee, you will support the Marketing and Product Management team over an 18-month period and gain comprehensive insight into the entire product lifecycle.
  • You will contribute to the development, implementation and analysis of marketing and product strategies, helping to successfully position products in the market.
  • Support in the operational planning, implementation and monitoring of budget targets (e.g., revenue and volume planning).
  • Assist with the planning, execution and control of marketing projects (e.g., campaigns, product launches and relaunches, event organisation, bespoke customer projects).
  • Conduct market and competitor analyses and prepare reports.
  • Create and maintain marketing and communication materials.
  • Support the preparation and delivery of presentations (e.g., for product trainings and sales meetings).
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders such as Medical, Sales and Regulatory Affairs, and with external partners (e.g., agencies).

Requirements

  • Completed university degree (Bachelor or Master, university, university of applied sciences, dual study program) in Business Administration (focus on Marketing), Life Sciences, Health Management or a comparable field.
  • Initial practical experience in marketing or the pharmaceutical environment (e.g., internships, working-student positions, thesis) is an advantage.
  • Very good knowledge of German and good knowledge of English; French is a plus.
  • Confident user of MS Office and an affinity for digital tools.
  • High willingness to learn, analytical thinking and a structured way of working.
  • Interest in delving into medical specialties.
  • Strong team and communication skills as well as high initiative and a sense of responsibility.
