Responsibilities
Advise the commercial organization on financial and strategic matters to support sound business decisions
Lead regional budgeting, forecasting and reporting processes in accordance with corporate requirements
Ensure accuracy and quality of month-end and year-end closings for the European region
Build financial models for strategic initiatives and support M&A activities from due diligence through integration
Design and improve KPI frameworks and dashboards to enable transparent performance management
Lead cross-functional projects to enhance efficiency and financial processes across the region
Requirements
Degree in Business Administration, Finance or Controlling (Master’s preferred)
8+ years of experience in Controlling, ideally within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry
Strong knowledge of SAP R/3, BW, BO, S/4 HANA and Microsoft Office (Excel, Analysis for Excel, PowerPoint); keen to explore AI and automation to improve business processes
Experience in business case development, M&A and IFRS reporting
Excellent command of English and German; an additional European language is a plus
Experience working across borders and in multicultural environments
Analytical, structured and hands-on, with strong communication skills
Proactive mindset with a strong sense of responsibility and ownership
