Key Accounts Coordinator tasked with service sales and coordination for MEPPI's Key Accounts. Focused on strengthening customer relationships and managing service opportunities in the Warrendale area.
Responsibilities
Identify and cultivate business opportunities for Key Accounts by selling services, extended warranties, and value-added offerings.
Maintain consultative relationships by providing guidance, information, and proactive support; identify cost-savings and new service opportunities.
Maintain accurate sales opportunity and service order data in MEPPIs CRM and business systems.
Prepare and present customer quotes, including RFP submission packages; follow up to close renewals, upsell service levels, and track customer budget cycles and close dates.
Help improve Point of Sale and post-startup capture rates for extended warranties in coordination with the sales team.
Ensure timely and correct invoicing for service contracts and extended warranties.
Increase margins through strategic pricing, direct sales, and promoting MEPPI service quality.
Coordinate third-party services for non-MEPPI equipment, negotiate costs, apply margin, quote, and close business.
Record and report on lost opportunities to support continuous improvement.
Compile data and prepare reports summarizing sales, service performance, and customer insights.
Coordinate services with customers, technicians, authorized service providers (ASPs), and vendors.
Create and manage service orders for parts, labor, commissions, billable service, and contract maintenance.
Generate and process paperwork to ensure proper payment for service provider work.
Create and process parts orders associated with field service activities.
Ensure preventative maintenance is scheduled and completed on time for all active service agreements.
Answer customer calls and written inquiries about field services, providing timely and accurate support.
Update procedures and work instructions as required for process accuracy and compliance.
Work with Finance to set up new customers and service providers.
Requirements
Associates degree in Business or related discipline
3-5 years of experience in inside sales, telephone sales, customer service, or collections, or equivalent education and experience
Intermediate knowledge of selling services
Basic knowledge of UPS products and the UPS industry
Advanced interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment and balance multiple projects simultaneously
Strong organizational skills and customer-centric mindset
Advanced computer skills with MS Office
Proficiency with ERP/MRP and CRM systems
